All students, professionals, and psychology enthusiasts, including non-members, of APA Division 29 (Society for the Advancement of Psychotherapy), are invited to join the Presidential Town Hall – Student Edition to learn and speak with our guest speakers, Dr. Jessica S. Reinhardt and Dr. Amy Silberbogen.

Brief Description:

APA Division 29 President Stewart Cooper, PhD, and the Student Development Committee invites you to a live Town Hall featuring Dr. Jessica S. Reinhardt and Dr. Amy Silberbogen— representatives of the Committee on Early Career Psychologists (CECP) and the Association of Psychology Postdoctoral and Internship Centers (APPIC). Each speaker and moderator is dedicated to promoting your professional development and are excited to speak with you!

What’s on the agenda:
Upon registering and attending the event, the attendee has the opportunity to:

  • Learn about the structures and resources at APA’s Division 29 
  • Briefly review presentational information regarding CECP’s and APPIC’s purpose and involvement with student development
  • Engage in an Q&A with the guest speakers 
  • Submit questions prior to the event, which will be reviewed by the guest speakers and embedded within the Town Hall’s agenda

You’ll also have a chance to submit your own questions when you complete the registration form.

About Jessica S. Reinhardt, PhD, NCSP, LP: 

Dr. Jessica S. Reinhardt (she/her) is nationally certified school psychologist and licensed psychologist. She is the Coordinator of the School Psychology Program at Temple University. She is the 2025 Chair of APA’s Committee on Early Career Psychologists and the 2026 President- Elect of APA Div 16 (School Psychology). Her overarching professional interests include mental health of children and adolescents, culturally-responsive counseling, trauma-conscious teaching and consultation, and assessment of neurodevelopmental disorders.

About Amy K. Silberbogen, Ph.D., ABPP:Amy Silberbogen, Ph.D., ABPP is currently the Chair of the APPIC Board of Directors and is here today in that capacity. She is also the Assistant Chief of Psychology and Training Director of a postdoctoral training program at a federal site.  She is a Clinical Associate Professor of Psychiatry at the Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine.  She is board certified in Clinical Health Psychology.  Her research and professional interests include health psychology and psychology education and training. All questions can be directed to the Chair of the Student Development Committee, K’hiari Hailey (nh10556@georgiasouthern.edu).
